Have you ever dreamed about escaping to a secluded island for a day? Located just 25 minutes by boat off the shores of Nassau Paradise Island, Sandy Toes Rose Island makes getting away from it all easy! Before you know it, you'll be soaking up the sun on an uninhabited private island. Go for a dip with the swimming pigs, or snorkel or kayak on the sparkling turquoise waters. Enjoy a lunch BBQ, then relax in a hammock on the private beach. Be a true castaway for the day and partake in the beauty of Sandy Toes. Due to size limitations on the island, this activity is only available to the first 300 attendees who sign up (100 per day).
The island is located about 25 minutes from the shores of Nassau by boat. Keep in mind you will need to take a bus to the boat dock, the bus takes approximately 40 minutes each way. Therefore expect one hour each way to/from the hotel to the island. This tour will be offered on May 2nd, May 3rd, and May 4th. Meeting time at the Baha Mar Convention Center lobby will be 8:45am and you will not return back to the hotel until 5:00pm.
Once we have fully booked Rose Island (300 attendees), we will be offering an overflow experience on May 4th for those still looking for a private island experience! Witness the beauty of the Bahamas and create a unique Caribbean getaway - a Dream Island filled with tropical flair, white sand beaches, music, all in one unforgettable afternoon! Please note at this time we are unable to guarantee a swimming with the pigs experience as part of this adventure. The alternate option would be sting ray encounter.
For this excursion you will meet at 9:30am at the lower level of the Baha Mar Convention Center. You will return back to the hotel by 4:30pm this afternoon. Keep in mind the boat ferry is approximately 40 minutes each way from the dock to the island.
A reminder to bring sunscreen, bathing suits, sunglasses, and a towel!
