    Gaudi Tour

Sagrada Familia and Park Güell Tour

This tour will introduce you to the work of Barcelona’s most renowned architect and visionary, Antoni Gaudi.
Among these is probably his most recognized work the Sagrada Familia cathedral. You will see the inside of this masterpiece, started in 1882 when Gaudi was just 30 and is still under construction today.
Also included on this visit is Park Guell. Gaudi designed this park in 1900 for an entrepreneur named Eusebi Guell. Guell wanted to create a residential district for about 60 homes, and the residents were promised a revolutionary way of
living in an “ideal town” known as the Park Guell.

At the end of the trip you will be taken to a traditional farm house for lunch around 2:00pm.

Pickup at the hotel is 9:45am prompt!  You will be back to the hotel by 4:00pm.

The Workshop will end with a 5 course lunch at the cooking school, made by the group!

The second session will be a dinner on Wednesday April 10th, and will run from 5:30pm-10:00pm. The group will depart from the hotel at 5:00pm sharp, and head directly to the cooking school (or meet at the Born to Cook school by 5:30pm). For the dinner session, the group will be doing an olive oil and cheese tasting instead of the market tour. The Workshop will end with a 5 course dinner at the cooking school, made by the group!

For both workshops, beverages will be included in a self-service format: white wine, red wine, beer, soft drinks, and water.

Due to busing restrictions in the Gothic Quarter we are unable to provide transport to/from the cooking school.  You may choose to take a taxi and provide them the address and they will take you to the closest stop near the school/market.  Taxis are able to get closer than buses.  Otherwise its about a 2km, 20 minute walk!
