[fa icon="plus-square"] Can we bring a guest?

Yes, every HubSpot President's Club inductee can invite one guest to join them in Los Cabos.  Keep in mind bed preferences (Queen/King vs. 2 Singles) are not guaranteed but can be requested.  

**Please note that if you're engaged or married to another President's Club qualifier, the expectation is that you would attend the trip together (rather than bringing guests).

[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All RSVP's must be received by January 31, 2021.  The first set of invites will go out by October 4th this year.  Please do NOT book flights before February 9th.  The flight booking period is February 9th to February 14th.

After February 9th no changes to your activity selections can be made.

Also keep in mind if we have over 200 HubSpot attendees without children, some attendees will be placed next door at the Hard Rock Los Cabos but will have full access to the Nobu hotel, including food and beverage services.  This decision will be made based on final % to goal numbers.

Please note you must be an active HubSpot employee as of trip dates to attend the trip and/or receive the payout for not attending.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Are children invited?

All are invited to bring your children at your own cost.  Keep in mind that anyone choosing to bring children will be staying next door (3 minute walk from Nobu) at the Hard Rock Los Cabos, as it's a family friendly resort.  There are plenty of activities for children including water slides, a kids club, and a teen club.  At Nobu, there will be no childcare or child activities offered.

Based on the family policy below, you will be responsible for covering all the costs for additional occupancy in your room.

For children aged 4-12 at check-in the cost is $67 per child per night and for teenagers 13-17 at check-in the cost is $122 per child per night.  18 and over is considered an adult and would be $167 per night per additional adult over 2 per room.

HubSpot Presidents Club Family Policy

When you qualify for PC, you earn the right to attend, along with 1 guest, paid for by HubSpot (this means during PC-sponsored events only, which the Organizers will specify each year).

However, over the years, we’ve learned that HubSpotters are proud of their accomplishments, and want to share their success with their families.

That said, we’d like to provide you with the following guidelines, if you choose to bring your children to the event:


HubSpot will cover the cost of the qualifying HubSpotter, along with the cost of one chosen guest’s flight. Flights for any additional guest (children included) are the responsibility of the qualifying HubSpotter.

If your child is young enough to require a car seat, we recommend bringing your own. HubSpot will not be responsible for providing or paying for car seats.  You will also need to organize your own transfers, as the group bus transfers are not car seat safety approved.


HubSpot will pay for the contracted dates of stay for the qualifying HubSpotter, along with the chosen guest. HubSpot will not pay for a second room, nor will they pay for additional nights before or after the contracted PC dates. If there is a fee for additional guests per room, HubSpot will cover up to $50 per child per night. Please note, this will not apply if the PC event is held at an all-inclusive resort- then, it will be the responsibility of the qualifying HubSpotter.  HubSpot will not cover $50 per child towards a second room.  


Food & Beverage
HubSpot will pay for food costs of children at the Welcome Party, and the Final Dinner (if child is old enough to attend, age 16+).



HubSpot will pay for the activity of choice for the qualifying HubSpotter and one chosen guest. Any additional activities for children will be the responsibility of the qualifying HubSpotter, assuming the activity is suitable for the child’s age and that there is enough space to accommodate the request. Please note that qualifying HubSpotters will be allowed rights to activities before children.


Childcare will be the responsibility of the qualifying HubSpotter, whether it be childcare onsite at the hotel, or babysitting services.


Attending PC Events
Children are welcome at the Welcome Reception, and children 16+ are welcome to attend the Final Awards Dinner.


[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

Please stay tuned for flight booking process.  The process will begin February 9th and end February 14th.

A few reminders:
- HubSpot will pay the cost to secure a seat if the airline does not assign one for you at the time of the booking (this is different from a seat upgrade- extra legroom, first class, etc- which HubSpot will not cover the cost of).

- HubSpot will cover the cost of 1 checked bag per person, per flight. HubSpot will not cover the cost of your checked bags on any additional flights you add to your trip.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I come early or extend my trip?

All HubSpotters are able to extend at their own cost, but any and all additional hotel costs, airport transfers, and flight difference will be your responsibility.  

The pre/post extension rate at Nobu Hotel (all-inclusive) is $890 per night double occupancy.  You are also able to extend pre or post at Hard Rock based on availability and then move over to Nobu for group dates.  A golf cart can transfer you with luggage.  The cost for Hard Rock Hotel (all-inclusive) is $487 per night double occupancy.  If you extend at Hard Rock Los Cabos you will NOT have access to Nobu during the extension dates. 

Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, any cancelled nights will be billed back to you through payroll.

Other hotel recommendations in Cabo area are Solaz Los Cabos, Resort at Pedegral, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, Chileno Bay Resort, and Hotel El Ganzo.  For those with credit card or rewards points to use, The Cape by Thompson and Hyatt Ziva All Inclusive are two Hyatt properties and Solaz and JW are two Marriott collections.

Due to end of month and end of quarter, please do not book flights for Club departing your home location before April 1st.  


[fa icon="plus-square"] But what's our Covid-19 plan?

What’s our COVID-19 plan? Glad you asked:

  1. We will make the final decision regarding employee travel by Feb 8th (working w/ Sales Leadership, HR, and Katie Burke).
  2. We will ask that all attendees wait to book their flights until after Feb 9th.
  3. An RSVP “no” (by the assigned deadline!): will still be provided with $2,000 USD, taxed (or your local currency equivalent). Employees must be employed at the time of payout, which would be expected by the end of April.  
  4. An RSVP “yes”, but the trip ends up being cancelled by the Feb 8th deadline: we have worked with the hotel to provide each attendee with a 4 night hotel certificate that includes a flight budget as well (please note that the flight must be to SJD/Los Cabos, and not an alternate location, and any flight costs over the provided budget will be the attendee’s responsibility to cover out of pocket). You will not be able to opt into the $2,000 USD payout at that time, only a travel voucher will be available. 
  5. Anyone who is unable to travel due to a positive diagnosis at the time of the trip or to otherwise follow applicable health and safety guidelines re: quarantine will be eligible for a travel voucher.

It’s important to note that the world has in fact changed with COVID-19. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to predict the state of travel or possible limitations that could take place in the coming year. What we discovered through this pandemic is that decisions are often out of our control given the limitations from federal authorities, immigration, and also general health and safety guidelines. These are eligibility guidelines placed without knowledge of what will come in 2021 and we may need to make changes and adapt (for example, to follow health and safety guidelines in place at the time). Of course, we will do our best to make this happen as it’s one of the great rewards and opportunities for recognition of our top performers.

We recommend all attendees that are arriving and departing on group dates to use the HubSpot organized transport.

If you are arriving outside program dates you are responsible for covering your own airport transfers.  Please do not expense.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Will HubSpot cover my cell phone roaming fees?

At Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, we have negotiated free wi-fi throughout the hotel for you to conduct business.  We ask you to use good judgement in expensing cell phone roaming bills.  


[fa icon="plus-square"] Is this hotel all-inclusive?

The hotel is all-inclusive for our group.  

Because we are a complete buy-out of the property you will need to make reservations for dinner each evening (restaurant reservations will open in February).   Reservations ensure all attendees can enjoy the restaurant of their choice and we are able to offer attendees a high end a la carte experience versus a group buffet.

A few of the high end tequilas and whiskies at Nobu restaurant are not included in the all-inclusive package.  The waiters will let you know when ordering if something is not included but it is a very limited list.  The all-inclusive package does include top shelf options.

All attendees will have one opportunity at minimum to eat at Nobu restaurant with a pre-fixed HubSpot menu that we have created with the Chef at Nobu.  The pre-fixed menu is to ensure the kitchen can provide service in a timely manner.

For those guests staying at Hard Rock, they will also have full access to Nobu for all meals and beverages during the group dates, along with access to Hard Rock amenities.   For those guests staying at Nobu they will not have access to the Hard Rock property.


[fa icon="plus-square"] Do we need to bring adapters to charge our electronics?

For those traveling from outside the US, you will need to bring your own adapters.  US team will not need adapters.


[fa icon="plus-square"] What do I need to pack? Can I expense checked luggage?

The weather in Cabo in April on the Pacific side averages a high of 78°F and low of 65°F.  Please pack accordingly.  

At night the weather does cool down so a thin coat, scarf, shawl or fleece is recommended.


Yes, all attendees can expense up to $80 per couple for this club trip to help defray the cost of checking luggage.  We recommend all guests check-in to their flights online.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Do I need a passport? or Visa?

Yes all guests need a valid passport that does not expire for at least 6 months AFTER the trip. 

Visas are not required for anyone holding a passport from the countries of HubSpot's 8 office locations.   

If you or your guest carry a passport from outside the country of your HubSpot office, it is your responsibility to research and obtain the appropriate Visa if needed.  We are able to assist in providing any documentation required.

Unfortunately, due to the busy itinerary, we are unable to meet requests for two activities.

[fa icon="plus-square"] I am unable to attend the trip, what do I do?
If you were awesome in 2020 and earned a spot at President's Club but are unable to attend this year's trip to Cabo for any reason, please let us know by January 29, 2021 and we will provide you with $2,000 USD (or your local currency equivalent), deposited directly into your bank account the first paycheck after the April trip (you will be taxed on this amount).  Also please ensure you complete registration as not attending to trigger the payment process.
* You will still receive your crystal award, but no additional gifts.  

Please note that your spot will not be given to anyone in your place, and we'll need to know your intentions by January 29, 2021.  Unfortunately,  if you notify us of any changes after February 1st, you will lose eligibility for the monetary reward since deposits will have already been made on your behalf.  Please note you must be an active HubSpot employee as of trip dates to receive the payout for not attending.

[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be three options.

1.  All updates and changes will be communciated to you through email in a timely manner.  This means you should be using the hotel wi-fi once a day to check for any updates or special events added.

2.  We will have a daily HubSpot headquarters located on property at Nobu Hotel.  There will be a staff on hand to answer any questions from 10am-6pm each day.  Locations will be shared on this website once finalized.

3.  This year we will provide an app with personalized itineraries.  All changes will be sent via push notifications so please remember to allow notifications from Travefy.
